Process
From footprint to finish
Every project in this portfolio follows the same five stages. The order matters: each one constrains the next, which is what keeps a scheme coherent once the decorative decisions start.
01
Measure & Understand
Nothing starts on a blank page. The existing footprint gets measured and recorded — walls, openings, levels, the awkward corner nobody mentions — because those conditions decide what the design can honestly do.
Existing conditions · Survey · Constraints
02
Space Planning
Several layouts get drawn before one is chosen. The test is always circulation: how someone enters, where they pause, what they see first, and whether the furniture plan supports that or fights it.
Circulation · Furniture layout · AutoCAD
03
Concept & Materials
The direction is set as a colour and material palette before any room is modelled — so that every later decision has something to answer to, and the finished space reads as one idea rather than a collection of nice objects.
Mood board · Palette · Atmosphere
04
3D Visualisation
The space is modelled and lit so it can be judged before it exists. Layered lighting is treated as part of the design, not an afterthought — it is what makes a material look the way it was intended to.
AutoCAD · 3ds Max · Corona Renderer
05
Present the Thinking
Finally the project is set out as a sequence of plates: the starting point, the plan, the direction, the result. A render on its own only shows the answer — the plates show why it is the answer.
