A reception redesign for a school of arts, developed from a space the class measured on site. The brief was to make the first room a visitor sees feel sophisticated and artistic without losing its welcome.

Design process

The existing school space was measured as a class, and I used those conditions as the starting point for my redesign. I explored different layout ideas before developing my final plan, focusing on circulation, furniture placement, and creating a more welcoming reception experience.

Interior concept

I wanted to create a reception that felt sophisticated and artistic while still being welcoming. I combined modern forms with classic details, using warm materials, artwork, and layered lighting to give the space a distinctive character.
